Pursuing the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister, the Light House Project of Chennai Tamil Nadu with 1152 houses in G+5 storeys with all basic and social infrastructure facilities have been completed in partnership with the State Government of Tamil Nadu.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated Light House Project in Chennai, Tamil Nadu 26 May 2022 in the event held at JLN Indoor Stadium in Chennai in the presence of Hon’ble Governor and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Despite the COVID pandemic and adverse weather conditions, this Project has been successfully completed in all respect in 12 months. Each house has two rooms, a kitchen, toilet and bathroom conforming to the building norms. Each block has provision of two lifts. In this project, precast components such as columns & beams, slabs, stairs etc. were manufactured in the casting yard. Finished components were transported, erected and joined at site. Various benefits of using this technology include speedy construction, Quality & durability, Energy & Resource efficiency, Thermal comfort and dust free site environment. In addition, the project has special features like solar lighting, rain water harvesting, waste water recycling amongst others.

As envisioned by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, the Light House Projects shall serve as a guiding light in adoption of new technologies in construction sector towards ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat’.
